What an amazing weekend! This weekend made it feel even more like summer and I'm only hoping these next two weeks at school don't drag on and on. Let me give you the rundown.
Friday: B and I met the parents and Jenny/Robbie at the Salem After 5. Its nice to enjoy the weather, music, and beer. And of course you always see someone you know- but there was a lot of catching up.
Saturday: B and I celebrated our first anniversary playing golf. I played my first 18 holes at Countryside. I had a blast. I might not be the best player (far from it), but it was nice to spend it with Brandon and something he loves to do. But now, he's created a monster -- me. We bought two new clubs for me (3 wood, putter) and I'm already ready to play again. We looked at some houses and did LOTS of talking with our realtor later tha afternoon and had a nice dinner at Olive Garden.
Sunday: We were bad and skipped church! But we had a great brunch and yes, went to the driving range. We had our first P90x workout! I surprised myself because I can do reverse grip pull ups!! go me! We ended our weekend at Grandmama's for dinner. I spent some more time with my niece :) and family. Afterwards, we watched our wedding video.
It was the first time we'd seen it. We popped some champagne, ate our cake, and watched the video. We got to relive our wedding. Yes, I cried again while listening to the vowels and toasts. We even got the family to watch the reception part. It brought back smiles to our faces and we felt the same way as we did that day.
It's hard to say what my favorite part of the weekend was at this point. The golf game is topping the list, but just spending time with Brandon made it perfect. However, it would have been nice to throw a party like the one we had 1 year ago with all my closest friends. Love yall!
