Well...this past Wednesday and Thursday have been great because I got AWESOME news both days!
So Wednesday was a typical one...I was wishing it was Friday. At the end of the school day I had an email from Dad and Brandon about the IRS. Not always a good sign. Well, when I read into it, it said that we qualified for the first time home buyers $8000 credit!! This was surprising because Brandon already owns a house in GA, but he has never lived in it...so we qualify. This helps tremendously! That's 8,000 more dollars we have towards a down payment or just the payments in general! So exciting!!
Wednesday was also great because I hit my new mile mark of 5 miles! :) It was a cloudy, overcast day...not too hot, not too cold and PERFECT for running. But, by the time I was done, my knees and feet were KiLLinG me. BUt it was a motivation and self-confidence booster! Of course the margarita at El Rods helped afterwards.
So today I found out great school news. SOLs have been pushed back until May 22 and after Memorial Day weekend! THat's three WHOLE weeks more to prepare!!! :) AND that only leaves like 2 weeks afterwards to chill versus four weeks as thought earlier. So that's awesome. On a bad note, I lost a student today. The one that was arrested for pot the other day has withdrawn to Corner Springs officially.
TGIF tomorrow! Looking forward to a beautiful weekend...but very very busy weekend! 8 more weeks of school!! :)
