Little bit of chicken...grilled

Probably going to be a short post for now. I think I realized how picky I am about the type of foods I eat. Recently I've been really picky though. Here's an example:

So, Friday's during Lent I can't eat meat and this doesn't include fish of any sort. Its just the pork, chicken, beef that I can't have. So Brandon and I tried to think of a dinner to eat so I can eat my fish. We ended up going to Applebees for the 2 for $20 deal. They have a bigger selection of seafood than I would expect, but not much of it sounded good. Either waay to healthy (fish with rice and veggies) or not so great. So I settled for the ONLY 2 for $20 seafood entree deal of fried shrimp and fries. Well, everyone probably wanted to know what in the hell I was doing, but I peeled each shrimp of the fried part and just ate the shrimp. To me, it tasted much better and I didn't feel like I was adding to any of the already unwanted fat on my body. The fries ended up being too salty anyways for me..so that actually worked out good for me I suppose.

Is that too picky? I've found myself not liking fried food at all anymore. I guess that's a good thing though, when it comes to nutrition. Brandon looks at me weird and says, "Girl, what are you doin?" when he sees me peeling the skin off my fried chicken. His view of good food comes from south Georgia...home of fried foods.

SO that's for my random post of the day. My next post will contain some interesting facts about some of my students :) until then.
