Ok, first of all let me update you on the latest in the Snyder family. This past weekend was AMAZING because we got to spend it with great friends at the lake. We had a blast skiing, trying to barefoot (uh huh...Brandon) and wakeboarding. Just check out the pictures on facebook. There was only one..no two things missing....Mel and Bill to complete the circle! I think it was a great weekend for a few reasons - 1. We spent quality time with friends, 2. It was outside all weekend, bugs and all. 3. lots of laughter always makes your feel good. Overall it was good for us and now we're looking forward to more fun this weekend with friends! Why can't we all live closer to each other?!?
So now, onto the real reason I'm writing tonight. Last night we "celebrated" Cinco de Mayo at El Rods with the parentals. We got on the never ending topic of houses. I started wondering...as many houses as we've seen in the past..um..4 months....are we being too picky? Obviously we know we want two baths, enough space so we won't grow out of it in 2 years, and a dishwasher...but I think we still look too much into things. If there is anything that needs to be updated or fixed prior to moving in (as in we know the day we look at it that it needs fixing) its a turn off for me and I think Brandon too. We've started looking more at details. We want a nice/decent backyard...SOMEWHERE to put our grill! I want a big enough kitchen to put all my stuff (cabinets that is!) with 3 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath at least, and not a dated home. Most of the homes are older and cheaper or newer and more expensive. Anyone have any advice on this? I know its only our first home, so its not gonig to be our dream house. I am just getting frustrated and I don't want to renew our apartment contract for another 6 months!
What do I do?
