Sorry for the long time in between posts. I started work last Wednesday...yes so early I know! But, it wasn't too bad and now I'm back in the swing of things. This past weekend was awesome. My parents and Brandon and I went to Alta Mons to camp. We stayed on Friday night and roasted marshmallows and made smores. I absolutely love going to Alta Mons....it takes me back to my inner kid :) We got up the next morning and ate a delicious breakfast and hiked up to the falls with the rents. Then his parents, my aunt and uncle and cousin with her kids came up for dinner. I really enjoyed visiting with everyone and just being there.
Sunday, we played a round of golf. It was a beautiful, but very hot day. It took us quite awhile and we were having some time actually playing well. Brandon, Pam, Ron and I scrambled....its bad when they take my balls! It was only my 3rd time ever playing. But it was fun nonetheless.
Now I'm anticipating the arrivals of the students tomorrow. I'm not nervous like I was last year with my first year of teaching, I'm just worried I'm forgetting something that I need to get done. Luckily I have 1st block planning.
