So, as some of you may know, I am a Michael Jackson fan. So of course I watched the memorial yesterday. I was just as shocked to find out about his death. I was at the beach of course, but I just couldn't believe it. I watched everything on him after that. The news, the biographies, everything. I love the Jackson 5 movie-- which you should see if you haven't! I also have the making of Thriller on tape. Probably going to watch that today with the hubby!
Anyways...I wouldn't call myself a fanatic. However, the very end of the memorial got to me a bit. When his daughter, Paris (who in NO way can be biologically related, I mean, even though he was "white," that girl would have to have the black genes in her....) spoke on stage, I couldn't help but shed a few tears as I watched her cry for her dad. It was heartbreaking.
I'm babysitting the little one today at the apartment. The poor thing was so tired this morning that she cried when Uncle B left her. It was cute. She's finally asleep, so I'm trying to be quiet. I want a little one....in a few years! I've been going back and forth with the puppy idea. I'll have to wait and see once we move into the house first. Maybe just a kitten?

kittens are the best because you can leave for the weekend and not worry about it. and if you get a good one, they are kind of like a dog : ) only less work.
