Today was my last day of work until August. The students graduated on Wednesday and we had two workdays. Now I'm officially done, well, in an hour I am. I am trying to kill some time since I have completed everything I need to before I leave.
One week until the Myrtle beach family camping trip. I'm looking forward to it this summer, like I am every summer. I told B we need to enjoy things while we can because it may be the last summer that we don't have other obligations before us. :)
Time to get some work done around the house and enjoy a little relaxation before another hectic school year begins.
However, good news to announce:
We ARE getting a full week of spring break next year, despite being told for so long we weren't! That spring break is MUCH needed because it is a refueler for us. If you work with kids, you know what I mean. There's NO WAY I could do this for 12 months. Its like raising 6 sets of 25 teenagers (2 semesters, 3 blocks a semester). It is hardwork. Don't get me wrong, I love what I do, I really do. I am cut out for this too, even though I did find a gray hair the other day! :( When I saw my first group of students that I taught walk across that stage at graduation, I felt nothing but proud of them, like they were my own. It truly is a rewarding career.
