This is probably a bad time to be writing. It's my planning period at school. Today's weather is a perfect match to my mood today. I've been exhausted all week, not really sure why, and my exhaustion at the end of the week goes perfect with a rainy day.
I started this blog for a few reasons. The other day I was on facebook (because I can be stalker-ish) and I saw an old high school friend had begun a blog. I read a bit of it and then remembered about my "live journal" that I kept my freshman year in college. I found it on the internet, read it, reminisced, and realized it was something I enjoyed doing because it was time I spent on myself and it was a good way to relax.
I used to write in journals a lot, but I lost that interest once I found Brandon. I told him everything, so there was no need to write. Well, its been awhile and we don't talk about EVERYTHING anymore. We live together, so I tend to think there's things we run out of to talk about. When we go out to dinner now, I struggle to find things to talk about if it wasn't an exciting day. We can only run around a topic for so long. Enough about us two...
Right now topics include houses, babies, dinner, and money. So exciting, isn't it? For anyone that doesn't know...the house thing didn't go through. We had our inspection on the house and on the outside it looks great...but the important stuff that keeps the house together and functioning...not so great. So, we got out of that one. Now, we're on the lookout again, which is such a pain.
Some may be surprised by the "babies" as a topic. We talk about it is all. Our niece, whom we can't get enough of, makes us look forward to having a family. When? Well, not for awhile...a couple years probably. We need that house first.
So why again do I have this? Well, life is busy and friend's lives are busy and sometimes the phone calls or the emails, or the visits never come. Well, this is a great way to take care of some of those things. To keep my friends, estranged or not, informed, if they want to be of course. I hope to hear back through comments from some...maybe even a phone call, visit or email...or facebook :).
So until my thoughts run crazy again....let the rain fall.
